About Dr. Jeaninton...

Dr. Chaneve Jeanniton is a New York based, board-certified oculofacial plastic surgeon. In 2015, she established her boutique private practice, Brooklyn Face & Eye with an emphasis on cosmetic eyelid surgery and minimally invasive facial rejuvenation. The practice has since gained a reputation for her authentic approach to eye and facial refinement, garnering recognition in the goop Guide to Cosmetic Surgeons as Best for Eyes.

After years of working with a diverse array of patients frustrated with the existing clinical skincare landscape, Dr. Jeanniton combined leading industry research with her dedication to nurturing holistic wellness to create epi.logic, a benefits-based skincare line. The collection’s roster of eight products work collectively to stimulate and nourish on cellular levels, and to reveal visibly brighter and healthier complexions. “With a simplified, benefits-based approach, epi.logic makes it easy and effective to see your best self in your reflection,” says Dr. Jeanniton. After its Fall 2019 release, the line quickly developed a cult-favorite status and went on to win Refinery 29's 2020 Beauty Innovator Award and Glossier’s Grant Initiative for Black-Owned Beauty Businesses.

In addition to her practice at Brooklyn Face & Eye, she is a clinical and surgical instructor to physician residents in training at the renowned New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. Dr. Jeanniton is also a founding member of the McDonogh Scholarship Committee, an initiative designed to increase the number of minority physicians pursuing the competitive and historically underrepresented specialties of Ophthalmology and Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT). Committed to outreach, she has volunteered annually in the Dominican Republic providing surgical services to the underserved since 2013.

For Dr. Jeanniton, “beauty is about character and confidence spilling over onto someone’s features.” Therefore, all facets of her work intend “to help people see beyond the barriers -- whether they are physical or emotional -- that interfere with our abilities to realize our true potential.”

“We're going to deal with … challenges all the time, but we just can't let them eat at us so that we don't like step into our full excellence...”
